Several members of the RBC completed Boston-Montreal-Boston in 1996.
A randonneur brevet with time limits and check points. The ride was 750 miles,
1200km, with a 90 hour, total elapsed, time limit. It is not a race. RBC
members participating in 1996, and all completed, were Janna Olevnik, Mark
Frank, Mike Seager and Pete Dusel. Other people who are not members but
participated in this summers Fingerlakes 555 and BMB are Neil and Eileen
Crone, Cory West, and John Rowe.
107 people entered in 1996, with approximately half coming from Europe,
and one rider from Australia. It's a great event to meet and ride with people
from around the world.
If anyone wants more information on these rides, please contact any one
of us who participated. It was a pleasant and interesting way to spend a
long weekend. I may be reached at: Peter.Dusel@usa.xerox.com or: pdusel@Sprintmail.com.
BMB is held three out of every four years, more information may be found
at http://www.bmb1200k.com
In response to a request on the randon@cyclery.com list, now the randon@topica.com
list I did a short write up, available here.
See what Ray_Edwards had to say about BMB '96,
he was up at the front of the pack.
An overall route map, borrowed from Dave Jordan, is also available here:

The director of BMB is Jennifer Wise. She may be reached at wise@edgenet.net
and should be consulted for entry info etc.
As these are my vacation photos, the emphasis is, perhaps, personal, but
you may find them of interest. If anyone can correct/identify the people
in the pictures, please let me know at: Peter.Dusel@usa.xerox.com or PDusel@sprintmail.com.
Around mile 600, the memory starts getting hazy.....
